Senior Pastor

Kent Estep has served as Senior Pastor of SC First Nazarene since 2005.  SC First Nazarene was Kent’s home church, where his parents, Morton and Carolyn, served in ministry for 38 years.

Chris Riggs
Youth Pastor and Director of Media Services

Chris joined the staff of SC First Nazarene in 2000 as Youth Pastor.  He grew up as a 'missionary kid' in South Africa, graduated from Olivet Nazarene University and went on to complete a master's degree at Nazarene Theological Seminary.

Kyle Stotts
Pastor of Worship & Music

Kyle Stotts is the Worship Pastor of SC 1st Nazarene, where he oversees the music ministries of the church and leads the (soon-to-be-named) worship band.  Kyle joined the staff in 2008 after graduating from Mount Vernon Nazarene University.

Brittany Emrick
Children's Pastor

Brittany is originally from Canton, Ohio but now calls South Charleston, West Virginia her home. She began a career in ministry at SC 1st Nazarene in 2010 after graduating from Mount Vernon Nazarene University.

Jennie Miller
Executive Assistant

Jennie manages the church office, directs special events and oversees marketing and communications for the church and its outreach ministries.  She is originally from South Charleston has called SC First Nazarene her church home all her life.  She graduated from the University of Charleston in 2001 and joined the staff of SC First Nazarene in 2005 after working sev

Chuck Baker
Administrative Assistant

Chuck joined the church staff in 2007 after retiring from a career in the US Marine Corps and US Army.  He and his wife, Lynn, have been attending SC First Nazarene for fifteen years and serve in many difference areas of church-life.  Chuck assists with the day-to-day functions of the church office and manages the outreach efforts of the Sunday School Department.

David and Diane Wasson
Kiddie Kollege Daycare Directors

Together, David and Diane manage and direct the church's daycare center, Kiddie Kollege.  They have over 25 years of combined service as Diane served as Preschool Teacher for many years before becoming Director.  David joined the staff in 2004 and manages Kiddie Kollege's business office. They both graduated from Olivet Nazarene University and have been life-long mem
